Hyundai i20

Hyundai Elite i20 is one of the most popular premium hatchback of India and is sold in a large number. It is famous for its premium feel, build quality and features. Hyundai has also introduced new dual tone variants but these variants have higher price. So we will recommend you to stick with the normal variants. We will be discussing here about price, engine, mileage, features and also some negative points of petrol model of this car as diesel car production is about to shut down in near time.

The on road price of Elite i20 starts from 6.85 lakhs for the basic Era variant but we will not recommend you to buy that model as it is very low on features. It has safety features such as 2 Airbags and ABS but it has only front power windows and no electrically adjustable mirrors. There is also no music system in this variant. The Sportz variant costs around 8.6 lakhs on-road and it has all the features that any top end variant should have. It has reverse camera with parking sensors, touch screen infotainment system, electrically adjustable mirrors and alloy wheels. The top end Asta variant has on-road price of around 9.8 lakhs ad this only offers projector headlamps with LED daytime running lights and 6 Airbags over Sportz variant. This variant costs more than a lakh than the Sportz variant and gives very little additional features. So, we would recommend you to buy the ‘Sportz’ variant.

This car has a softer suspension setup and is very comfortable to ride in city. You will feel comfortable in this car even if you are driving it on roads with bad condition. The stability at higher speeds and mileage are a downside of this car. When you drive at higher speeds, this car doesn’t feel stable and confident as compared to Baleno and Polo. This car is designed for city driving. But you can still live with this car as it is not the deciding factor. There are many other reasons to buy this car. It gives you attractive looks, premium feel, extra features and Hyundai’s service network is also getting stronger day by day. So if you want a premium hatchback and you drive more in city, this car is the right choice for you.
