TVS Apache RTR 160 2020

TVS has launched new 2020 model for Apache RTR 160 bike and has loaded it with additional features. It has got single channel ABS, optional race spec Pirelli tyres and new fuel injection system to meet new BS6 emission norms. Its price starts at Rs.99,000 Ex-showroom.

It has got a newly designed LED headlamp which offers better visibility and looks aggressive. It has also got new instrument cluster with top speed recorder and 0-60 duration recorder. There are new aerodynamic mirrors which TVS calls ‘Claw’ mirrors. There is also a new engine cowl with attractive graphics and this bike has single sit with dual-tone design. The bike looks very sporty and attractive.

It has 159.7cc oil-cooled engine which produces 15.8bhp power at 8250rpm and 14.12Nm torque at 7250rpm. It has new Race Tuned Fuel Injection (RT-FI) system which is mated to BS6 emission norms and offers better fuel economy. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission and is oil-cooled.

TVS provides this bike with ‘Wave Bite Key’ which prevents it from theft and duplicate key cannot be used to start the bike. It also has a lap timer, 0 to 60 acceleration recorder and a top speed recorder. It has new race-tuned ‘Showa’ monoshock absorber at the rear to help it ride better on tracks. There is double-barrel exhaust and that makes the same sound as the previous Apache models which most of the people are fan of.

There is Single-channel ABS for enhanced safety and has new race spec tyres from Pirelli as an option.
